You feel a bit tense as the blonde stares in your direction. Her gaze seems studious, and you hope it’s approving. Again, you take a sip of your drink to distract yourself. You were usually nervous whenever you had to talk to someone, but you wondered what made it so pronounced this time around. Did she seem hard to impress, or were you trying hard to impress?
“Everyone Has A Knack For Something,” you say.
“From What I Have Observed, You Are Pronouncedly Eloquent. Your Words In Conversation Alone Are Quite Expressive And Thoughtful. I Must Admit That It Makes Our Conversations To Date A Delight,” you told her.
“If I Were A Publisher, I Would Certainly Find Myself Rather Interested In You.”As if you weren’t already.
You crack a small smile, wine-red painted lips curling up, as you shift your gaze up to study her reaction.
“Is that so? I appreciate hearing that, especially from one so obviously talented as you…” you trail off, considering.
“Perhaps you should become a publisher.” you laugh, soft, and wave a hand.
“I jest. If I may be honest, the art I was referring to was more of the musical sort.”
You smiled a bit uncertainly. Her reaction seemed a bit melancholic. You hoped that your comments had not bothered her. Sometimes compliments can just rub salt in the wound. You decided to drop the subject and continue.
“Music? Do You Play? Or Perhaps Sing?” you asked, intrigued.
So, I figured I’d take a moment to tell you guys a bit about myself, I guess. I mean, it has some purpose. It helps you understand how I act and stuff like that. Which is harder to discern through roleplaying, in my opinion.
